The witless debonair settled here in the back

We’re in a wreck

And betting they write the check

A familiar subterfuge

Living it up we’re in their shoes

As I see the inside of a head

That’s been ready some time to blow

Sometimes the thieves grow thick together

Only thing I might remember

Is giving them another name

They probably think we’re letting you win
